Arabica

Robusta
Known for its strong resistance to pests and diseases and high yields, it is mostly grown at lower altitudes. Robusta has a stronger bitterness, lower acidity, a heavier body, and higher caffeine content, usually around 2.2%–2.7%. It is commonly used in espresso blends and instant coffee.
Liberica
Produced in small quantities and rarely seen on the market. The beans are larger and often described as having woody, smoky, or distinctive fruity aromas. It typically appears as a niche or specialty flavor coffee.
